Nitrogen and gas mixtures may be able to significantly extend the shelf life of your Meat & Poultry.

Meat & Poultry like Lamb, Chicken, Beef, Duck, Pork, Rabbit, Goat, Venison, Wild Pork and others, can have their shelf life extended anywhere up to two or more times their normal shelf life. Unlike MAP of most other products, where the level of available oxygen is reduced to near zero, red meats require an amount of oxygen to keep that healthy red image for the consumer. Depending on the type of meat, different gas mixtures are sought.

Additionally, Nitrogen may be used for more human euthanasia of animals like pigs and chickens. Studies have proven that the nitrogen bubble technique is more humane than other traditional methods (CO2, etc.) to date.
